Really like this composter, easy to turn and fill. I especially like it because of Kedel using recycled plastic, haven't had it long so can't comment on the speed of the compost being ready, etc.

Tumbler was received just 2 days after order was placed and is exactly as described on the Kedel website. It was easy to assemble and has now been in use for just over a week. Ref the colour (Grey) for anyone who wants a different colour I have painted plastic water butts and will paint this tumbler with Hammerite Smooth dark green paint which is available from most good car accessory shops. The Hammerite smooth paint takes very well to plastic barrels and the water butts in my garden have stood the test of time over about 5 years without cracking or peeling. John H (Bristol)

Delivered promptly.
Easy instructions to follow. I was able to put this together on my own although it would have been easier with two people when it came to lifting the barrel onto it's fixings.
My only complaint is that the holes were not drilled sufficiently wide enough for the central bar to go through. Was able to gouge a wider hole with a screw driver as the plastic is quite soft - but could have done without the hassle.

Thanks Sian. Yours is the first complaint about this hole so far in 2 years. The hole is 10mm and the threaded bar is 10mm, so it's strange you couldn't push it through. However, based on your experience, we are increasing the hole size to 10.5mm, so this should help future customer. Many thanks for taking the time to give this review.

site was so easy to use.delivery was very quick.it was so easy to assemble.we did put extra Lbrackets on to makeit more steady.but was very happy with our purchase

Good design, efficient service. Maybe my compost is heavier than average, but find it fairly unsteady in the turn (agree with John's comments). I can't see the frame surviving very long at this rate.
Kedel Comment: Read the composting instructions carefully. Especially note 2/3 brown to 1/3 Green waste, and do not over fill - max 2/3 full. This gives best compost quality and does not overload the base.

Arrived on day req'd. and was easy to assemble with diagram supplied. However, I found it a little unstable rotating it with about a half load. This was cured by fixing feet to the ground, which in my case meant simply screwing into a wooden deck it stands on.

This is the best composter design I've come across and it's 'green' i.e.a converted food industry barrel and the stand is made from recycled plastic. I don't mind buying this sort of plastic!
